B.S.B.A. Degree

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with functional major in CIS is a four-year baccalaureate degree program that prepares graduates for entry level positions as computer programmers - system analysts / network specialists / software engineers in the information systems industry.

A minor is not required with this functional major.

CIS Program

Gaining a CIS degree is a multiple-step process. Besides gaining entrance to the University, all business majors must be admitted to the College of Business and Economics. To be admitted the student must meet both College and Departmental requirements.

A major in Computer Information Systems requires a minimum of 124 credit hours. There are four categories of courses required of CIS majors:

GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (48 credit hours):

A series of general education courses is required of all undergraduate students at Central. These (english, history, science, etc.,) courses make up the University Studies program. A minimum of 48 additional credit hours is needed to fulfill this requirement.
